Process:​

• Send me an email at fireandonyx.art@gmail.com and let me know what type of commission you would like to request, as well as the size you would like for your portrait. Provide as much detail as you can for your portrait. The more detail, the better. If you have drawings that you have made of your character, a photo of the person you are commissioning, a Heroforge model, or other similar model of your character that you have made, feel free to send that to me as reference. Do not send me artwork that someone else has created.

• This is sent to me to review, and after reviewing I will send you an email if I am accepting your commission.

• I will reply with a quote and ask any questions if needed to get more information for your commission.

• Once you have confirmed the price quote and answered any questions, I will send you a payment invoice via email and request payment via PayPal or Venmo (whichever you prefer).

• Once I receive payment I will start drawing!

• I will send an email with the WIP line art. At this point you can let me know if you would like changes to the line art.

• I will send an email with the WIP flat colors. At this point you can let me know if you would like changes to the colors.

• Once finished, I will email you a JPEG of your commission! You may also ask for other file types, such as a PDF for personal use printing.

 

On Your End:

• Please give me as much information as possible for you commission! You can send me your character reference sheets, links, photos, written descriptions, etc. Do not send me photos of someone else's art.

• You are welcome to post photos of your commission, as long as you credit me with my Instagram handle (@fireandonyx.art) and/or a link to my website.

• If your piece is a gift for someone and you do not want me to post it before you give it to them (or if you don't want me to post it at all), you need to let me know! If you are fine with me posting it after you have given the commission to the recipient, please let me know when it is ok for me to post it.

• You may print digital art pieces for personal use only. DO NOT sell or mass produce any printed posters, these should be for personal use (or as a gift) only.

• DO NOT remove any watermarks/logos on your artwork.

• DO NOT try to claim my art as your own.

 

On My End:

• I don’t use other people’s art as references because I feel like that would be like copying another artist’s work or ideas. If you send photos of another artist’s art, I won’t use it.​

• I don’t do commissions of licensed characters, though I can create you/someone you know/your character in the style of certain shows.

• Please note that I will most likely post a photo of the finished product on my Instagram, @fireandonyx.art, as well as possibly on my art website and/or portfolio website and/or use the commission in my portfolio. If you do not want me to post your commission, please let me know.

• I am allowed to decline any commission without explanation.

 

Wait Time:

• Commissions can take a while to complete, especially if my schedule is full, so make sure to give plenty of time if you want the commission done by a certain date.

• Please allow 2-3 months for me to complete your commission. I try my best to get it done as soon as possible, and usually it will not take more than a month, but sometimes I get busy and have multiple projects to work on.

• I do not to accept "rush orders".

 

​Pricing/Payment:

• I will only start a commission if at least half of the commission is paid.

• Once the commission is completed I will ask for the remaining payment.

• I accept payment via PayPal or Venmo. I let you choose between those two.

• Pricing is not flexible.

• Prices may change within a month or two. If you order a commission and I change the price guide, I will not increase the price that we agreed on if you have already paid it fully or partially.
